Seabuckthorn oil extraction by Supercritical CO2 extraction equipment

A Turkish customer uses 5L supercritical CO2 equipment to extract sea buckthorn oil.

This equipment was ordered from us last year. Due to the shortage of funds, the customer installed the equipment and put it into use last week.

According to customer feedback, the 5L equipment can process about 2kg of dried and crushed sea buckthorn per batch. Each batch takes 1.5 hours, this time includes loading and unloading materials.

During the extraction process, the pressure and temperature of the extractor were 35Mpa and 40°C. The pressure and temperature of separator 1 are 10Mpa and 60°C, and the pressure and temperature of separator 2 are 8Mpa and 40°C. Finally yield is 6%.
